motech is proud to be first again, this time with gm lt gen v engines in a jk wrangler. others will follow the path we blaze because the gen v lt engines are raising the bar to a new level for a v8 swap in a wrangler.
with many lt jk's on the road, tested in hostile environments the gen v lt engines have proven to have a combination of performance and efficiency never available before in a wrangler jk.
our testing shows the gen iv engines outperform all other engines in their class. an l86 6.2 lt engine will run with the 500 hp crate engines but the the mildest of manners, on regular gas. the gen v engines are simply a step above diesels, hemi's, superchargers, turbochargers, and anything else we have tested. When all factors are taken into account;
when we talk gen v we must talk the 8 speed automatic transmission. the 8l80 8 speed transmission builds on what the 6l80 started. can interface, efficient and strong the 8l90 offers a couple more gears to help launch your heavy jk, or crawl through the most difficult off road situation with full control and precision; all while returning class leading economy and on highway comfort.
